Reports are generated by Claude (Anthropic) from live website content, then reviewed and refined by a 3PM marketing strategist before the full analysis is released. ## How scoring works Each pillar is scored 0–5 by Claude (Anthropic's AI) against a consistent rubric: - **5** — Exceptional, sector best practice - **4** — Better than most competitors, performing well - **3** — Adequate, with clear areas for improvement - **2** — Poor, needs significant assistance - **1** — Failed on this component Scores are averaged across applicable pillars (Ecommerce is skipped for non-ecommerce businesses) and benchmarked against the industry peer group median. ## Core message alignment Submitters can optionally state the one thing they want the market to know about their business. When provided, the AI is instructed to: 1. Check whether the website's headlines, H1/H2s, CTAs, and body copy reflect that message 2. Identify 1–3 specific page areas where the message lands well (with actual copy references) 3. Identify one specific place where the message is absent or contradicted This alignment check is surfaced in the report as a "Messaging Alignment Check" section above the Critical Issues breakdown.
